Cristiano Ronaldo joins Juventus to end 10-year stay at Real
It has been confirmed that five-time Ballon d'Or and Champions League winner Cristiano Ronaldo will be joining the club they beat in the quarter-finals of last year's Champions League edition, Juventus, and therefore ends his 10-year tenure with the Madrid club.

The Italian club agreed a deal in the region of €100m (£88.3m) for arguably the best football player on the planet who will be signed on a four-year contract with an yearly salary amounting to around €30m.

The 33-year-old is ready for a new challenge after nine years at Real Madrid and the player and his agent, Jorge Mendes, met the Juventus chairman, Andrea Agnelli, in Greece on Tuesday to discuss the final details of the deal.

Ronaldo joined Real from Manchester United for £80m in 2009 and scored a club-record 451 goals and won the Ballon D'Or - awarded to the world's best footballer - in 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017.

Ronaldo has gone on to become the club's all-time top scorer with 451 goals for Los Merengues.
