Valencia vs Real Madrid Prediction and Betting Preview 08 Nov 2020

Here's our Valencia vs Real Madrid Prediction analysis: Valencia vs Real Madrid PredictionLeague champions, Real Madrid travel to the Estadio de Mestalla to take on Valencia, in one of the big matches billed to go down in La Liga this weekend.
Match status: 2020/21 La Liga - Matchweek 9
Kick-off:
Venue: Estadio de Mestalla (Valencia)
Valencia have endured a torrid start to the season, with manager, Javi Gracia enduring a tough start to life as Los Che boss so far. Los Che are currently on a four-game winless streak, and this looks set to continue as they welcome an in-from Madrid side to La Mestalla.

In sharp contrast to the hosts, Madrid have set about defending their league title in serious manner, and with just one loss in seven matches this season, are close to reclaiming top spot on the standings.

Valencia vs Real Madrid Team News

Valencia were able to get a bit of reprieve from their poor form as they held Getafe to a dramatic draw in their most recent La Liga encounter. Los Che took the lead via a Yunus Musah goal in the first half, and were set to secure a crucial win before an astonishing turn of events late in the second half.

Getafe equalised via a Cucho goal in the 87th minute, and took the lead when Angel was left to tap in a rebound, four minutes into added time. Valencia kept going though, and their effort was rewarded, as they won a penalty right at the death, which Carles Soler subsequently conceded.

Valencia are currently placed 13th on the league standings, and have only collected a meagre eight points from a possible twenty-four so far. Los Che are on a miserable run of form, having failed to secure a win in their last four league outings, and are with just one win in seven matches overall.

Real, on the other hand, had no problems last time out in La Liga, as they recorded an easy 4-1 win over newly-promoted Huesca.

Eden Hazard opened scoring via a stunning strike, after a long injury layoff, and Karim Benzema soon doubled the lead. Further goals from Fede Valverde, and Benzema’s second of the night ensured Real would walk out worthy winners on the night.

Real are currently placed second on the La Liga standings, one point behind Sociedad in first, although they do have a game in hand. Los Blancos have now won 5 of their last 6 La Liga matches, with three of these wins coming on the road.

Zidane’s side are in rich scoring form at the moment, and have found the back of the net, at least twice, in their last five competitive games. And surely, they’d fancy their chances against a Valencia side that has conceded the 3rd most goals (13) in the league this season.

Valencia vs Real Madrid Predictions

Madrid are in much more superior form at the moment, and it is hard to look past a win for Los Blancos in this one. However, Valencia, on their day, could pose problems for any side, hence you should be wary when picking a winner for this clash.

Forward, Karim Benzema is a man in form, and you can bet on him to find the back of the net at any point during this clash. Likewise, Real are in rich scoring form, and Valencia, despite all their troubles this season, are currently one of the highest-scoring sides in La Liga; Consequently, the Over 2.5 goals option is an attractive choice for this fixture.
