Olivier Giroud leaves for Chelsea after five-and-a-half years at Arsenal
France striker Olivier Giroud has completed his ?18m move to Chelsea and signed an 18-month contract at Stamford Bridge, confirms Arsenal's website.

His move to Chelsea was confirmed hours after Arsenal signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund a club-record transfer.

France international Giroud, 31, leaves Arsenal having scored 105 goals in 253 games since signing from Montpellier for a reported ?12m in June 2012.

Oli also helped the Gunners to three Emirates FA Cups, scoring in our 4-0 win over Aston Villa in the 2015 final. And he scored the winning penalty - against Chelsea - in last year’s Community Shield victory at Wembley.

Giroud played his final game for Arsenal on Tuesday night as he came off the bench during the Gunners' 3-1 defeat to Swansea City but has now joined the Premier League champions as part of a deadline-day striker domino.
