Here's our Poland vs Bosnia & Herzegovina Prediction analysis: Poland will look to take advantage of potential slip-ups from either Italy or the Netherlands as they take on visiting Bosnia Herzegovina at Stadion Miejski in Warslaw.
Match status: 2020-21 Nations League - League A
Kick-off:
Venue: Miejski we Wrocławiu (Wrocław)
In a group where everyone expected the battle for qualification to be fought exclusively between Italy and Netherlands, the resilience of the Polish side has provided an interesting twist to the conundrum, and we’re all waiting to see how this plays out.

Having missed out on a chance to partake in next year’s European championships, as well as being currently placed rock bottom in Group 1, and risking relegation, it is safe to say the Bosnia national team aren’t exactly enjoying the best of times.

Poland vs Bosnia and Herzegovina Team News

Poland’s last competitive outing ended in a goalless draw against group 1 leaders, Italy. The Polish side came under intense pressure for extended periods of the game, but were able to successfully hold on to claim what could end up being a massive point.

Jerzy Brzeczek’s side are currently placed third in Group 1 of the Nations League, but their position doesn’t tell the entire story. For one, Poland are tied on points with Netherlands in second, and are only just a point behind first-placed Italy!

Also, a win in this fixture, and a draw in the match between Italy and Netherlands could see Poland take control of Group 1 ahead of a decisive round of fixtures that determines the team that makes it to next year’s Nation’s League finals.

Bosnia would have been proud of their performance in their last outing as they were able to hold a highly-rated Netherlands side to a 0-0 draw.
The Dutch side dominated proceeding for the majority of the match, but defensive resilience, coupled with unquestionably poor finishing from their attackers ensured the spoils were shared with Bosnia.

Regardless of the outcome of the match, Bosnia remain glued to the bottom of the table, having collected only two points from their opening three matches, and look all but set to fall down into the United Nations League B.

However, if Bosnia is to stay up, then this is the match for them to get a result, seeing as both they and Poland have two difficult upcoming games against Netherlands and Italy.

There have been just four previous meetings between these two sides, with three of them coming in international friendlies.

Of those four matches, Poland have won three, and drawn once, scoring six times and conceding thrice in those encounters. One of those victories came in the first leg of this fixture, where Poland recorded a narrow 2-1 win away from home.

Who will win the match?

Poland vs Bosnia & Herzegovina Predictions

This match presents a huge opportunity for Poland to stake a claim for the top spot in Group 1, and it’s hard to see them messing this up. That said, Bosnia, as shown in the first leg against Poland, and their most recent matchup with Holland, are no pushovers and will definitely give the Polish side a run for their money. Regardless, we see Poland emerging victorious in what will be a tightly contested affair.
