Chelsea have been pretty lackluster in recent weeks, failing to churn out positive results on a regular basis. Last time out against arch-rivals Manchester United, the Blues were dragged to the cleaners.

The Red Devils exerted their dominance over Frank Lampard’s side throughout the game, grabbing two unanswered goals in the process. Indeed, they looked good value for the very comfortable win at Stamford Bridge.

With fellow top-four hopefuls Tottenham coming around town on Saturday afternoon, expect a ballsy affair in West London, with both sides going all out for the win. It goes without saying that goals are a surety in this fixture.

When Chelsea picked up 10 points from five Premier League fixtures either side of the turn of the year, it appeared likely that Frank Lampard and his side would continue on an upward trajectory during the second half of the campaign.

However, Son Heung-min's broken arm has the potential to derail Spurs' efforts in their two priority competitions, especially with Harry Kane still two months away from a return.
