That Liverpool is made of champions is out there for everyone to see. The Reds are a team in top form this season and look to claim their elusive 19^th title. They have almost outlandish numbers to their performances and are currently being touted as one of the best Liverpool teams in generations.

Out of their most recent 21 matches, they have lost only once and scored over 40 goals. Not a surprise in an attacking trident that boasts of sensational Senegalese Sadio Mane, the impeccable Brazilian Firmino and the free-scoring Egyptian Mo Salah in their ranks.

Even with an 8 point cushion at the summit, Liverpool will not be complacent well wary of last season’s blunder which saw them throw away a hefty lead. The home side will be looking to get back to winning ways after a draw in a European encounter against Napoli on Wednesday.

Underdogs Brighton will certainly be cowed and intimidated by their opponent’s feats walking into this clash. After all, the Seagulls, as they are otherwise known, are a team that barely survived relegation last season as Liverpool was battling it out for the title with incumbents Manchester City.
