Burnley are a story of inconsistency this season. Of the 9 games played, they have won 3, drawn 3 and lost 3. Strong and resilient against Everton and Norwich, in shambles against Liverpool. However, the Clarets can draw comfort in their home form where they have only lost once, forgivingly to a magnificent Liverpool.

Sean Dyche’s boys can mount a serious challenge in front of their fans and will have a go against a Chelsea side, fresh from a Champions League trip to Ajax.

The Burnley fans will be buoyed by the return of this season’s club top scorer Ashley Barnes, who has recovered from an injury. Teaming up with Jeff Hendrick and Chris Wood, the forwards have a combined 10 goals and will cause problems at the back for Chelsea.

The Blues outstanding season is still on track and they currently sit 4^th. Not bad for a side who had to turn academy products to first-team regulars. The faith coach Frank Lampard has put into the youthful squad seems to have paid off despite a faltering start at United. That remains the only loss they have suffered on the road this season.
