Official: Ndombele becomes a record-breaking club signing for Spurs

The French midfielder has joined from Lyon to become Tottenham's first signing over the last three transfer windows.

The 22-year-old has agreed to stay at Spurs until 2025 and the fee the North London club has paid for the young prospect is said to be in the region of €62m plus €10m in add-ons, informs the Spurs official website.

His transfer beats the €46m paid for defender Davinson Sanchez, who joined Spurs from Ajax in 2017.

In total Ndombele, who has six caps for France, made 96 appearances for Lyon and registered 16 assists.
