Andre Gomes joins Everton from Barcelona for £22m
Andre Gomes has become an Everton player having spent a season on loan at Everton last year.
The Toffees paid £22 million to Barcelona for the midfielder who has signed a five-year contract, committing his future to the Goodison Park until the summer of 2024, informs Everton official website.
The Portuguese international scored a single goal - against Wolverhampton - in his 29 appearances in an Everton shirt last season.
He has become Everton's second successful transfer deal of the summer following the signing of Huddersfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl.
"I'm really happy to sign the contract with Everton. It wasn't hard to decide, it was an easy decision and I'm very happy to have made it,"
"Last year was a really good experience for me. I just wanted to feel part of something special and I found it here." said Gomes.
