Fans of both clubs can only hope that this match is anywhere near as entertaining as the reverse fixture. Back in November, Everton battled from 2-0 down to beat Watford 3-2, with the Hertfordshire club missing a penalty in the dying minutes.

Watford - currently in 11th place but with only a 4 point advantage on the drop-zone - have won just one of their last six matches, but what a win it was - the Hornets thrashing Chelsea 4-1 in their most recent home game. They have failed to score in any of their other four matches, however - losing their most recent game 2-0 at West Ham a fortnight ago.

Overall, The Hornets have recorded a win, a draw and a defeat in their three Premier League games so far under new manager Javi Gracia but at home Watford have won 3 of their last 5 home games in all competitions, whereas 7 of the last 8 matches at Vicarage Road have seen over 2.5 goals scored.
