Celta 1-1 Barcelona: Blaugranes fail to win at Celta for third time
Barca coach Ernesto Valverde rested the likes of Leo Messi, Luis Suarez, ter Stegen and Jordi Alba for the return game at the Camp Nou as Blaugranes drew 1-1 with Celta Vigo coming away without a victory for the third time running at the Balaidos, but this time in the Copa del Rey.

How it developed:

After just 15 minutes into the match, Barca B forward Jose Arnaiz, leading the line in place of main striker Luis Suarez, put The Blaugrana ahead when he sent home an Andre Gomes assist - his third goal in as many cup appearances for Barca so far.

Approximately on the stoke of an hour, Pione Sisto brought the game on level terms as he first latched onto the rebound ball off Barca keeper Jasper Cillessen following an excellent Iago Aspas flick onto the crossbar.

All in all, the game was quite close and there was no better side between these two, with both creating chances throughout. So, Barca and Celta will most likely look upon this result positively, and will be expecting to qualify for a place in the quarter-finals next Thursday in Barcelona.
