Tottenham 1-1 West Ham: Stunning goals settle draw at Wembley
With this draw West Ham have leapfrogged Bournemouthuth in fifteenth and now have 22 points, two above the relegation zone. Tottenham retain the sixth spot, currently on 41 points.

When and where did the match take place?

Tottenham entertain London rivals West Ham in an 8.pm kick-off fixture on Thursday, 04 January 2018, when fifth-place Spurs hope to add another win against Hammers at Wembley after having beaten them 3-2 earlier this campaign at London Stadium.

How the teams lined up:

Chelsea: Lloris - Aurier, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies - Sissoko, Dier - Eriksen, Alli, Son - Kane (4-2-3-1)

Subs: Trippier, Lamela, Wanyama, Vorm, Llorente, Dembele, Winks.

Chelsea: Adrian - Reid, Ogbonna, Rice - Zabaleta, Kouyate, Noble, Obiang, Masuaku - Lanzini - Hernandez (3-5-1-1)

Subs: Carroll, Ayew, Haksabanovic, Hart, Martinez, Quina, Makasi.

How it developed:

Harry Kane, who played only 22 minutes in Tottenham's 2-0 victorious trip to Swansea 48 hours ago, had a clear-cut first-half chance when he was set up by Sissoko's heading cross clean on goal, only for the striker to miscontrol it and let it out of play.

The Hammers meanwhile had been unimpressive for the whole first 45 minutes; they got no single shot and failed to bring any threat at Spurs keeper Lloris.

In the second period, the Spurs were lacking conviction in the final third, despite dominating the midfield and going full throttle at a resolute Hammers defense.

There was a disputable penalty situation mid through the second half, Kane being pushed down by Zabaleta during a seemingly inch-perfect cross but the referee waved on, much to the striker's annoyance.

Surprisingly on 70 minutes, Obiang scored a stunner from 30 yards out - which had not been coming at all - against the run of the game. What a goal that was!

Trailing 0-1 for a 14 minutes spell, Spurs with the help of Son-Heung-Min cancelled out Obiang's goal with another astonishing strike from outside the box into the top right to get level with six minutes to go.
