The final game of the Copa America 2019 quarter-finals has finished.Twice the VAR technology was relied on after Edinson Cavani seemed to have opened the scoring for Uruguay with a beautiful shot square on the hour mark and Suarez sent in a cross from the left - both due to offside positions. With no shot reaching target, Peru stood still to hold La Celeste to a scoreless draw.

Stepping up to take the first spot-kick, Luis Suarez hit the stretching Gallese and had his side trailing one goal from the start.
