Reims are building for themselves, the reputation of a team who play out draws, as evident in their latest run of result. However, it's not exactly a cause for concern, given that they have very little to nothing to fight for in the closing stages of this campaign.

Although Terem Moffi dragged his side - the visitors - back on level terms in the 70th minute, Marseille went on to snatch maximum points at death courtesy of Pol Lirola's second, and perhaps the most important goal of the match. Consequently, this victory moved Marseille within a point of fifth-placed Lens on the Ligue 1 table.

Having accrued a total of 52 points from 33 league games, Les Olympiens currently occupy the 6th-position on table, a massive 15 points adrift the top four. Only in an ideal world can Marseille still make top four, as it means that they would have to win their remaining five league matches, while fourth-placed Lyon would have to catastrophically suffer defeat in each of their remaining games.

In the reverse fixture at Stade Velodrome last December, both sides had to settle for a share of the spoils after playing out a 1-1 stalemate. Without any doubt, Marseille will be aiming for victory on this difficult trip to Reims.
