Switching between managers over the past few years, Arsenal are still yet to find a perfect replacement for Arsene Wenger. However, there seems to be a certain good-feel surrounding the presence of Mikel Arteta at the club since his appointment.

The Gunners haven’t necessary risen the bar in terms of performances and results but have shown glimpses of promise at times. The frantic 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier in the year has been the highlight of Arteta’s management so far.

Involved in midtable obscurity, Newcastle United will be looking to get one over downtrodden giants Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this weekend, with the intent of finishing as high as possible on the standings.

Having lost just one of his opening nine matches as Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta is well on his way to winning around the club's supporters at a time when the Gunners are striving to make headway up the standings.
