Leicester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion Match Predictions 19/08/2017
Seemingly looking formidable and composed on their Premier League debut, Brighton were defeated 2-0 in the opening game at the Amex Stadium by Man City, who have been tipped to win the league this time around, and although their next opposition couldn't get a positive result against Arsenal in a fascinating 4-3 loss, Leicester City looked a side able to confront any side onwards into the season.

Venue: "King Power Stadium" in Leicester, England
Playing a full match in the opening-day 4-3 defeat to Arsenal on Friday night, Jamie Vardy seemed to have returned his hunger back he was on throughout their 2015-16 title-winning season as his two shots during Friday's Premier League opener ended up in the net of Petr Chech; to be precise, The Foxes' overall shot conversion rate was of one 100%, as well with Shinji Okazaki levelling the scoring on 5 minutes after Alexandre Lacazette opened the proceedings minutes into the game.

Despite a great performance shown by Craig Shakespeare's side, Leicester couldn't do better at stopping the Gunners from hitting the net at closing stages, as substitutes Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud had a decisive impact on the late winning scoreline of 4-3, with one drawing the scores back level and moments later the letter heading home the winner in the home side's favour.

The next day afterwards, making their Premier League debut and having been tipped to go back down to the Championship by many, a Brighton side kicked things off playing home to the season's title favourites Manchester City. At first glance and until the half-time mark the team represented themselves in good fashion, holding off the pressure from Citizens that eventually did make the hosts yield up the guards and Sergio Aguero was sent through one-on-one against the well-keeping Mat Ryan to score a 70th-minute opener, before an own goal by Lewis Dunk five mutes later.

For the teams, Danny Drinkwater is believed to have recovered from injury and is able to make a return, while Vicente Iborra is once again expected to sit out with a groin injury. Robert Huth is still having treatment to his ankle, making him miss out on Saturday.

After sustaining injury and limping off in Albion's opening fixture, Izzy Brown will be out along with Sam Baldock and Beram Kayal, who failed to feature last time out to injuries, and are not going to get involved here as well.

First away fixture for Albion should prove to be of what Brighton really are after this season, or at least what they are capable of - but I do not expect any sensational display at the home of Leicester City, where Jamie Vardy and Co will do everything to bounce back from the earlier disappointment and get on winning ways. I fancy the Foxes to win to nil - that's what they did before failing to defend their champions title - and the 30-year-old England striker to get on the scoresheet.
